Has anyone received guidance on how the funding mechanism will work for paying ALR/classroom learning within the Adult Skills Budget fo training providers in 11/12.

Out initial assumpition was that funding would work in the same was as LR; qualification rates calculated by applying the provider factor to national rates and paid in full at [...]

Is there any more news on the use of this? We have coded our learners using the YP regional codes in anticipation that the government will advise in this direction, but it would be useful if we had clarification before we input hundreds of starts.

Is there any guidance on recording Foundation Learning on the ILR for 2009/10? It is our understanding that we can start delivering this before the start of the 2010/11 contract year?

The Skills Funding Agency guidance note 2 explains that there will be a 25% reduction in funding for large employers for 2010/11. Our interpretation of this is that we will receive the reduced rate for those learners whom are employed by such large employers. Is this interpretation correct?

This would require providers to have fairly robust systems in place to enable them to gather this kind of info throughout the year to allow them to complete the annual return. This would add to the data burden and would require resource and processes setting in place to gather this information.
