You will need to provide more detail such as are you a college or training provider, the cohort of learners (employed, or unemployed and if so if on active benifit) and method of delivery so that forum member can assist you.

Hi,
The LIS output file should be input via the LRS portal only, as they say email is not secure enough for personal data.
‘VLD’ is valid at the start of the LIS output filename, for guidance on how to send and receive validation reports see:

I think that the intention of the change next year was to make it simpler by combining the previous DBS, FDL and CES employment status into one employment status.
I expect that providers will have questions on their application/enrolment form to ascertain the learners current and previous employment status.

Guidance for Distance Learning is no longer included in the Adult Skills Budget Funding documentation as it was prior to 2011/12.
Does this omission together with the current definitions for Classroom and Workplace learning indicate that distance learning is no longer a valid method of delivery for ALR?
