The pathway codes will be added to LARA for the 12/13 teaching year – they are not there yet. The pathway is detailed on the SASE framework documents if you want to check this now. All aims within a framwork (incl the programme aim) will have the same pathway code.

Martin – you are absolutely right and thanks for your input. It is not acceptable to send two learner records (with different learner ref numbers) for the same learner to differentiate between L2 and L3 aims. And you must not in any circumstance knowingly create two ULNs for the same person.

We are currently in discussion with the YPLA about how they will be managing the new contracting and funding arrangements and what you will need to record in field A70 for 10/11 for 16-18 LR provision. We will update you once we know more via the IA news updates on our webpage.

Rule A04_A14_A16_AD04_1 will be removed for data migration and 2010/11. It is incorrectly generating errors where the learner starts the programme aged 18 but has turned 19 before starting a subsidiary aim. In this circumstance L28 should be 99 99 and A69 for 2010/11 should be 99.
