I'm wondering if you could help me here. We are having a bit of a debate as to wether asylum seekers are fully funded next year.

We have read and re-read the July Guidance, but still are not clear.

Does anyone have clear guidance on this? Are asylum seekers fully funded or not? And what about failed [...]

Its for our Pathway Leaders. We are doing a presentation type thing, and want to be able to show them how they can find out if a learning aim is funded or not! If it helps, chances are it will be LR funding.

Can anybody please give me a definitive answer?! I know that learning aims that are in the LAD are not always funded. Is there an easy way of finding out if they are funded or not? Am I missing something hidden away that I really need to know?!

I'm a bit confused! We have a C&G learning aim that has not been valid in the LAD for new starts since the 31/12/10. C&G are still allowing learners to be register for the award up to the 31/03/11. When we queried this, we were told to use a proxy aim.

I had a problem recently where I had to delete a learning aim for a learner, that shouldn't have appeared in any of 10 – 11 ER ILR's. I sorted that by using the L08 field.

We do have postcodes validation on our system, but this is on the actual MIAP site!!! They have the first name, family name, date of birth, postcode and validation reason, but NO address!!!!
