Annex 1 of the migration specification (Appendix B to the ILR Specification for 2011/12) has a mapping from A14 to the Learning Delivery FAM Type (FFI) and FAM Codes. This is available on our website at http://www.theia.org.uk/ilr/ilrdocuments/201112_ilrdetail.htm.

The notes in the single ILR Specification are relevant where the MIS will be outputting XML files rather than flat files.

If the MIS is not able to output XML then the flat file ILR Specification should be followed to ensure the files are in the correct format to be converted into XML by [...]

Hi Tony

Apprenticeship main aims are identified in the flat file using A10 = 46 but in the single ILR main aims are identified using the Aim type field (where Aim Type = 2).

The LIS will convert learning aims with a funding model of 46 into Aim type 2.

No, there is no requirement to update the Achievement date (A40) once the certificate is received.
