  Just wondering if the deletion flag will affect LR records – it's still an ER only field but with the single ILR and the potential for a learner to have ER and LR records in the same file, would setting L08 to Y result in the removal of all the learner's aims or just the ER ones?
  Also, if it does delete the LR aims then is there anything to stop you setting the deletion flag on an LR only learner?

  Forgot to mention – I'm looking at the flat file specification. The single ILR specification doesn't mention whether or not L08 is ER specific. I guess that answers my question!

  Hi Alan

  If the deletion flag is set to Y then all the learning aims for that learner will be deleted, regardless of whether they are ER or LR.
