  Finally got round to merging two XML files – had to give each file a different transmission number as LIS beta refuses to let me add 2 files with the same name – but each file when validated in isolation has 0 errors and just one or two warnings about postcodes.

  Must be doing something stupid or LIS 19 v1.07 is totally incapable of merging 2 xml files. Anyone had any success with merging xml format files?

  At the last Own Software Writers meeting, merging of files was highlighted as an area that has received insufficient testing. The delayed release of the live LIS 19.01 and the OLDC may well indicate that this is still under development?
