    Hi

I am a little confused as I have heard on one hand, that there is not going to be an ILR for Learner Responsive and then at an event last week a Foundation Learning Consultant informed us that we have to record our data using an ILR.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

    Jackie,

We will still need to use an ILR, however a Learner responsive ILR will not be made available (Go figure!!)

We have used an 09/10 Learner responsive ILR and using the guidance we have amended to reflect the codes required for 2010/11.

I am happy to forward a copy if this would help!

    Hi All

Just to clarify the "official" position regarding LR ILR returns and forms. The Learner Responsive ILR return is still required from providers receiving LR funding for 16-18yr olds and adults. The information authority does not produce a general form to complete for LR ILR returns. FE Colleges and training providers should use their own standard enrolment forms coupled with data from their MIS systems to complete the ILR. These forms do not have to have every ILR field on them if this data is held elsewhere in your systems. The information authority would like to encourage providers to collect data in the most appropriate way to support their own business processes, rather than having to complete a standard form. Please be aware that the forms developed by one provider may not necessarily suit the needs of another.

    Hi Lisa,

I understand that "the forms developed by one provider may not necessarily suit the needs of another" but it would still be good to see it (for various reasons).

Is there any chance there can be a page on this web site which can act as a temporary repository of such user generated files sought by many other users?

    Thanks

    Cyrus

    Hi all,

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been sunning myself in Spain for the last 2 weeks.

I will e-mail the ILR to all who have posted messages above.
