In an Apprenticeship, does this guidance apply at programme level or individual aim level? Do we have to report all aims in the framework within 6 weeks of programme start, or does each aim have to be confirmed within 2 or 6 weeks of its individual start date (depending on the length of stay for that aim)?
I hope the guidance means that each aim must be reported within its own funding start period. The other interpretation will be very problematic for some frameworks where the start date of a particular aim isn't fixed at the start of the programme, but depends on the completion date of another aim – for example where Key/Functional Skills are delivered one after another with the next one starting when the first has been completed, or where a student has to complete two NVQs (e.g. Engineering AAp) or two technical certificates (e.g. Electrotechnical AAp).
