  The Data Service published the LIS MDB database and draft guidance on 25 March 2011. We aim to publish the LIS interface specification on 20 May 2011, with a view to a LIS beta being available on 01 June 2011. A provider release (following UAT) will be available on 15 July 2011, with live deployment on 05 August 2011.

  LIS V19 will be supported on Windows version from XP Service Pack 3 to Windows 7, 32-bit.

  The email address set up to handle LIS issues has been discontinued. I suggest servicedesk@thedataservice.org.uk as a starting point for all data issues, including LIS.
