Important consultation – late essential changes to the 2011/12 ILR

January 10, 2011 in The information authority Blog by Anna

We are consulting on a number of late changes to the 2011/12 ILR, which have been proposed to support delivery of new government policies.

At its meeting in December 2010, the information authority board agreed to consider exceptional change requests from the funding agencies to support essential changes to deliver policies announced through recent publications such as the Skills Investment Strategy.

Seven change requests have been received in total. After applying our assessment criteria to each of these change requests, we are taking four forward for consultation with the sector.

These are as follows:

Follow the links above for more information about each of the requests and details on how to respond. Alternatively, you can view the proposals in this Word document.

The board is scheduled to meet on 28 January 2011 to consider the changes. If necessary, we will publish a revised 2011/12 ILR Specification by the end of February 2011.

The consultation on these changes will close at 17.00 on Monday 17 January 2011. Comments left in response to this blog will be taken forward as part of the consultation, as well as the responses to the consultation surveys linked above.

  1. Hi Anna, Can you open up some discussion forums on these change requests. I have replied to the consultation but I feel that members might want to air their views more openly on theses changes.

As mentioned in the blog above, if you wish to have a public discussion, you can do so here, in the blog comments.

It would appear that once you have completed the survey for one of the items you can no longer view the details. Is there a link anywhere to simply view the criteria. I can’t seem to find one?
